Artificial Putting Green

If you are a busy person but you are a golf lover and just don’t find the time in your busy day to get to the golf course, what you need is a private putting green. However, if you don’t think you will have the time to turn it into a golf course then you are likely not going to have time to maintain a natural grass putting green, so artificial it is! Many people use putting green because it looks, acts and feels like natural grass. It looks like perfect green grass, except that it requires no mowing and no watering.

puttingThere are many reasons why one would want to use putting greens, but just a few of the benefits are that it can be used outdoors as well as indoors, it looks and feels exactly like natural grass that you have taken the time to grow and maintain, it is safe to use, it is environmentally friendly, it will remain in shape and form even after long periods of time and with heavy use, and it requires no special chemicals, no maintenance, no watering and no mowing. It is like real grass, except you don’t have to look after it in any way. Isn’t that nice?

It is amazing the transformation you can make to your back yard, without any hard work. All you have to do is lay the artificial putting green grass and that’s it. You will never have to do anything to it again unless for some reason you want to remove it. The other great thing about this type of artificial grass is that there are many accessories you can buy to go with it that makes it even more real. Artificial putting green features in many people’s homes as well as in their yards. After years of trying to get the grass looking good, most people just give up and go for putting greens rather. It is easier and it always looks good, no matter what!

You don’t have to use artificial putting green just when you want your grass at home to look good. There are many uses for it, some of which include at apartment buildings, auto dealerships, games rooms, recreation rooms, shopping malls, condominiums, golf courses, driving ranges, office complexes, hotels, motels and many more! Even if you just need to use the grass for a special occasion at home - maybe you are throwing a party and couldn’t bear your guests seeing your grass in the state that it is in - then you could get some artificial putting green for your yard and your guests can play a round or two.

Artificial putting green is great to have and you don’t have to worry about rain destroying it easily. It is great for entertainment when you have people around. As long as the weather is good you can have a barbeque and a couple of drinks with friends and a serious game of golf for the guys, and a giggling game for the ladies! Unless the ladies are serious about the game too, of course.

How Do I Fix My Artificial Synthetic Putting Green Problems?
Mon, 18 May 2009 22:47:33 GMT
I put in a 3/4 putting green last weekend and had a few questions to those that have them. It is a poly green. It is not holding chip shots at all. It is way to fast for chips. The putting is ok, not too fast. My question is will it help if put carpet padding under the green and add more sand? Does more sand make it slower or faster? Right now I have about 1/4 of pile above the sand infill.

I am taking out a 27' round pool and putting in a putting green. There is a dealer with a section that is 3/4 high 13'x15'. Or another dealer with a section of 1 1/4 high 12x24'. Which of these would be better? Is the 1 1/4 grass too tall for a putting green, even with infill? Thanks so much!
