Four Soils Ministry: Sowing the Gospel Seed

Four Soils Ministry is an innovative new organization bent on training Christians to become leaders. The group takes Christianity into the 21st century, providing free classes over the Internet. This is convenient for users worldwide. Their website also includes useful and creative teaching supplements, such as "blogs," which is short for web log, a diary/journal that is updated periodically and has a message board for user to leave comments.

Anyone can take a class offered on the website. Students who wish for a more intense program of study can enroll in the Four Soils Ministry Certificate Program, which is the equivalent to a one-year certificate program at a theological school. There are four different programs students can choose to follow-Preaching, Teaching, Discipleship, and Counseling. Communication between student and teacher is done strictly by email, and the only textbook needed is the Bible, so there is virtually no cost to take a course.

The man behind the organization is Pastor Charlie, who has a doctorate of ministry in theology. He also has vast experience as a missionary, preacher, and Christian business leader. The passion and mission of his new venture is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to give other the resource and training to Four Soils Ministrydo the same.

The website is easy for users to navigate, with links to learn about and enroll in the four programs of study. Besides the above mentioned blogs, Four Soils Ministry's website also includes links to other useful theological websites, articles on Bible topics of interest and Bible-related current events, and sermon notes. Recent topics posted have been discussions on The Da Vinci Code, the science of preaching, and law.

This organization reflects the growing need in American and around the world for religion to have roots in the Internet. As more programs such as this hit the Internet, Christians and those who are curious about the religion will be able to easily access this information, making Jesus a part of their daily lives. For more information about getting involved as a student, visit the Four Soils Ministry website or contact Pastor Charlie.
